To some great extent, the question is where is our team at? To me the progression of the season is we started out playing some solid teams tough, had a spell in the middle where we got exposed against Fresno and lost confidence, and then ended up playing four games in five days with a travel day in the middle (Fresno was the first of these) and were embarrassed. Once the team got back in the gym to practice, they tightened up the defense and fixed some of the issues, and have won three straight. Also, the winning has coincided with the emergence of Kam Martin. Since the last game, players have been in final exams, so who knows how much practice this week has had. In general, I expect this team to continue to improve.

Can we beat Pepperdine, absolutely. Will we beat them? Not sure, but I have a feeling we have turned the corner, and if Fullerton can beat them we certainly ought to do the same.
