UCSD 77 @ USD 71. We won @ USD by 7 and with the Waves crushing Davis, gives us hope for the BW. Lots of times its about matchups. Pepperdine has very good bigs so maybe Davis has troubles with teams like that.

I think the Waves can be a force if they can get another guard going to help out Odum.

We got blown out a lot in non conference, but also had 3 games go down to the wire. I think we're gonna be ok in the Big West our guard rotation is developing nicely, our team defense is becoming legit, man to man is good enough, 3 pt shooting pretty good, FT shooting pretty good...the frontcourt is developing I think we know what Austin, Nagy, and Denson bring...where we can really move the needle is DMX and to some degree Richardson.

All other things being equal and we stay healthy, if DMX can regularly score around 6-8 pts, grab 4+ rebounds, block a few shots, hit a few 3's, and Richardson can affect games like he did at Pepperdine, the team will be more rounded out and defenses can't overplay our guards.

Mix in Lloyd and what he can bring while developing, that's some nice weapons. I don't think we can count on Hart or Curtis neither have really touched the floor at all both might redshirt.
