Ever since Thomason retired. Then they had a scandal and fired all of the coaches if I recall correctly. Then this year Scholl passed away . He would have been their best coach.

They were an enviable Big West program for nearly 2 decades. Would have a down year, then back to competing at top of conference. Bob had a lot to do with that with consistency up top. they were early on the Euro recruiting. Olowakandi really randomly fell to them, but they developed skilled Euros like Maraker who rode the pine his first year then came around.
They love their current hire, but still stuck in WCC bottom. Stoudemire got them up to 3rd in a WCC that still had BYU, but that was it really. A lot of last three finishes. Previous Message
Pacific hasn't been good at men's basketball ever since they left the Big West. This year they are 6-15 and 1-6 in WCC action. Previous Message
Pacific also struggling record wise with a first year head coach as we are. Same huge amount of roster turnover, all new staff, etc.
Their athletic fundraising is still doing pretty well, but they need to turn the performances around as well.
Wish we had been able to keep them around for Davis, but guess that is moot now anyways.
