Canzano interviewed Stu Jackson at WCC media days in October and Stu said that the WCC was working on a future partnership with another sports conference for scheduling partnerships and in season tournaments
A couple days later Canzano dropped this -
"Octagon isn’t just working for the Pac-12, it’s double dipping for the WCC. Octagon is the strategic agency and media-rights consultant for Commissioner Stu Jackson’s conference, per sources. I find that synergy interesting."
Canzano then had Stu Jackson on his radio show later in October and Jackson said they were working with more than one west coast conference to schedule in season tournaments with, the second candidate likely being the Big West.
Jackson painted a grand plan of in season, inter-conference basketball, soccer, baseball, and volleyball tournaments that could be cheaply produced and sold to benefit all participants. I only watch football, but I thought its sounded like a good plan, especially since Pac-12 Enterprises can produce them. Previous Message
