President Jane could have handled things in a abbetter way the past several years. A lot of this is on her. She is not providing necessary funding for the Shark Lab. Also she is as not provided funding for other academic programs. We know first hand as we are very involved with one
endeavor that also provides national recognition.

Under Jane's leadership monies were spent fighting lawsuits. Remember her directive to dump trash and dirt on she Puvunga land. Also when the solar collectors were out into the parking lots? She had nothing in the contracts to make the companies doing it responsible for repair of the pavement damaged by their heavy trucks. She spent monies after the fact trying to go after them to no avail.

She spent most of the monies on diversity and inclusion. Her No Barriers campaign. Oh and where did all of the monies go that she claimed she got the Univ as a result of that? She alienated boosters, alumni, and outside donors.

The debacle with the Presidents Scholars program and the breakup if the Alumni Assn as it was has been very damaging.

Unfortunately athletes will be greatly harmed also. No monies even if the state was in better shape financially. I expect the UC schools will go to other conferences. They have more money available. The rest of the Big West schools will become Division 2 and that me at be better for them. Their boosters may be able to attend more games as travel will be to more that are geographically closer.
