I’ve always wondered about the notion of the Pyramid as a general recreational space for the school. That was clearly the intent, or at least sold as the intent, when gathering funding, I’ve just never stopped by when it wasn’t locked up, empty, or being used by one of our teams for practice. Other than renting it out, does the general student body get to use it for anything (classes, intramurals, etc)? Previous Message
Our building, with it's issues aside, is still the most visually stunning in the league, and has the best presence in my opinion.
Fix the roof (university should hop in here as it technically is a shared general recreation space, not an athletics only space), and if it has to be shut down for an extended period of time, get the fourth side done with a midlevel alumni deck/beer garden suite, and permanent seats down to floor level, with extra locker space underneath.
