In the press conference last night, Acker mentioned the learning process....his and the team's. This showed up late in the game against Fresno State as well as last night. I doubt very few of us expected last night's game to go down to the wire.
Acker and the program need some time. Previous Message
Absolutely, our best game of the season for us and DMX and our inside players. Loved to see balanced scoring and our tough Defense against a top team in the conference with experienced players in Turners system. Previous Message
While many here are frustrated with our Men's Basketball team, I am starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel. We certainly could have done a couple of things differently last night, but overall, I thought that it might have been our best game of the season, and we certainly had our chance to win against the 1st place team in the conference!
We seem to have forgotten what we were all saying at the end of last season, about this year being a very tough year for us, and that we might even finish last in the conference. Well that certainly could happen, but I do believe that our new coaching staff is starting to develop that talent that we have on this team.
Go Beach, baby steps!
Last night's game, against UCI, certainly did no turn out the be the blowout that most were predicting, and was actually an exciting game to attend. The students were loud, and every time that we fell behind, we seemed to fight our way back, except at the end of regular time and in the over time. YES, I know that those were the most important times, but don't forget about what our expectations were for this season. I do think that we are starting to see some progress!!! Let's not give up on this team and our mew coaching staff!!!
