Improvement is apparent with the close games recently, and Acker's confidence in how things are turning around and communication is better, hmmm. If the team closes out the season and wins a few and the losses are close, I might believe him.
Last night i saw a team that fought hard, got the offense going better than I've seen in a while (still not that good), but the holes were gaping and can't be fixed easily.
Having no DMX hurts a lot, he was starting to develop beyond the 'ok' level into the 'decently good' level.
Bright side, guys like Richardson get to develop in game situations, this 7 footer has some skills, good hands and decent footwork, just needs confidence built through many games of being a solid contributor. He was last night.
The refs were garbage last night too they were letting CSUN drape all over our bigs but its because our offense is so slow to develop. CSUN is like bang bang bang shot. We're like hmm let me ponder this a while before I do something. Defenses love us, they get to be set and ready. Really dumb how we let that happen nearly every possession.
