The Gold Mine is not a Div 1 facility so I don't see it as an option. Until the Myd is reroofed or a new arena is built the Long Beach Arena or the Anaheim Arena at the convention center may be the only other possible locations while repairs or reconstruction is being done. Years ago, during the heyday, when Tark was at LB we played some games in the LB Arena. Back then they put a big floor-to-ceiling curtain in one side of the arena to cover sections to lower capacity from 14,000 to 6 or 7 thousand seats.
The Myd problem is a huge problem with no easy answers. The roof has been leaking for years and patching the seams and rivets is not a permanent solution.

For safety reasons the game last night should have been stopped. I no stead the floor kept getting wet and players are now injured.
All the school needs us a lawsui. Look at the chains at the end of the stairways that block access. If There was an emergency where we had to evaluate it would not happen timely. It could mean injuries or worse. They have been warned about this but ignore the warnings.
