Anaheim was perfect. Even take Convention Center over Henderson. Honda was great. Anaheim is easy travel for all, best location to all schools, tons of alumni from all schools in the area, food options were fine before or after tipoff with breweries and Disney adjacent offerings.
Henderson is too far. Palm Springs new arena, or the new one in Oceanside could be also be options. Heck, the LB Arena got some seating upgrades recently, and with it's updated lighting, would be a better option than Anaheim Convention in my opinion. But the sensible option is to get back to Anaheim. Find an out for the contract. Previous Message
Like I said after 2027 if we are all still D1 make it home games for the higher seeds. Previous Message
The top teams only play 2 games. I think I am correct on that . Then bottom four play 4 games. The bottom 4 are teams #5- #8 .Then #9 thru 11 are out of the tournament. We should have a more central location so teams and fans don't have to travel that far. I know many like the casino's but I don't. At least the parking is free. Previous Message
It is unbelievable Butterly extended the contract for the Henderson facility to 2027. The Big West Conference appears to do little to nothing for the benefit of the members schools. If we become D2 we should create our own conference with other local colleges.
