How often do you see the team play competitively and in practices? How much of their problem is due to talent disparity, player mix, team chemistry, mental outlook, injury issues, first year roster composition, failure to execute, coaching failures, etc.)?

Momentum is a hard thing to shake...11 straight losses, followed by tonight's game, followed by UCI and UCSD (both on the road) and then Cal Poly, to close out the slate (a tall order for LB's offensively challenged team against a team which runs up the score on offense - and plays piss poor defense).

I see tonight's game as their best chance to win among their last four games, yet I don't see this Bakersfield team as simply rolling over to take a loss. As you have observed, they have been a plucky adversary and have lost a number of tight league games. They also have incentive - they are playing to make the tournament with a 7/8 seed and Cal Poly on their asses.
