Askew is averaging 18.8 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 37% from 3, 88% FTs, 4.5 assists, 3.7 TO
These #s scream 1 year pg rental NIL $$$ mid major or higher, some team will get robbed of their projected pg and need a one year rental.
Askew is destined for overseas in the pros, might as well make a few 100k next year get that bank account rolling.
Like BB I'm concerned if Askew came back, it would be more of the same. Unless we get a bonafide pg from the portal, and move Askew over to shooting guard. But he's outta here, why wouldn't he be?

From the article today regarding tomorrow's final game with Cal Poly. Quote:
"Prior to the game Long Beach State will be recognizing Devin Askew for his 1,000 point accomplishment, as well as honoring graduate transfer Austin Johnson for his five-year Division I career wrapping up on Saturday.
• Cam Denson has been suspended for a violation of team policy. That suspension was applied for two games, Thursday's game at UC San Diego and the season finale against Cal Poly on Saturday, March 8."
That sounds to me like it validates what we had heard earlier that Askew had been granted another year of eligibility. Whether he uses that here or moves on is another matter.
