I pin this loss on TJ Bruce. The start the 9th he brought 3 pitchers that had seen little action all season and by the time he brought in Gebb the damage was done.

Ahead 5-3 starting the 9th inning. Hit batter, walk, walk, hit batter, base hit. 6-5 Pepperdine.
Some baffling Bruce decisions earlier in the game when there was a chance to blow open the game. Astonishing.
