Point….counterpoint:
Dirtbag baseball is working with their third new baseball coach over a three year span. Valenzuela underperformed his last two years finishing 5th and 7th in the BWC before he fled. Peters was the interim HC last year and as interim had no ability to recruit a 2025 class. BW coaches picked the Dirtbags to finish 8th this year. What are your expectations? To finish top three with an empty cupboard? It will take time. A Dirtbag collective has been established and the announced recruits for next year seem to have some chops. Assistant coach Thomas Walker is a known recruiter.
Beach basketball: the vast majority of us agreed “a new voice” (monsons words) was needed. Like baseball the cupboard was bare (less than 5% of scoring returned with very little minutes played). We have a first time head coach who is learning g as he goes…..hope he is a quick learner. BW coaches had LB pegged at a 9th or 10th finish. Kinda looks like the coaches knew more than a fair amount of posters expectations. Going forward to next year, there are 4-5 players I hope return that would provide a continuim for next year. A basketball collective was established prior to the season. Not sure how it is doing.

LBSU has track, tennis and water polo? 🙄
Baseball RPI now 211. Even behind Fullerton at 205.
Men's basketball a stellar 323 as of today.
I wouldn't this athletic director hire my gardener.

Softball is doing very well. Tennis, water polo, and track have done well. Athletes in these sports deserve recognition but get very little or none.
