If you can, please post a link to the Chancellor's web site or anywhere else interested parties can weigh in to provide input on who should lead the university after Joan finally leaves. Previous Message
I read where you said that several times, but I was confused by this latter sentence, which seemed to contradict everything previous:
“Send Jane an email, the chancellor is not the correct choice.”
Anyway, I located the public info on the search process, and advisory committee. It’s obvious that most people don’t have an appetite for any proactive action and will simply wait for someone to be selected. Previous Message
I above stated that Dr. C. is not involved in the new presidential search. Speak up to the powers that be. Previous Message
Jane is not the right choice. She doesn’t pick the next President. The Chancellor and the Board of Trustees do.
If an outside firm is handling the search, all the more reason to organize independent feedback. Previous Message
The search for our new president is being handled by an outside search firm nationally and it doesn't involve Jabne. Secondly, Jane is not asking for feedback on her replacements. Thirdly, who are people at large? Non-staff, faculty, admin? Send Jane an email, the chancellor is not the correct choice. Previous Message
It is my understanding Jane is already sending requests for feedback to certain individuals of her choice. This is the way she has handled things in the past. She does not care about feedback from people at large
The best way for those concerned is for them to send their opinions directly to the chancellor.
