Sprints- Rahni turner is back and getting things done already. 13.30 for 100H. Lavreshina is very solid. sub 24 200, sub 55 400. Not blazing but will compete at Big West. 4x1 has a solid early season mark. Distances- right now it's Leia Jones and no one else. 800/1500 2:09/4:31. Jumps- Some Depth, no standouts. HJ two over 5'7. LJ 3 over 19' but that won't get much done. Throws- Butler will compete for Big West titles in Shot and Discus, and two Hammer throwers will be all Big West. ![]() Early season results: Men Sprints- Right now is mainly Flores- 100/200, 10.26!!!/20.98, going to score points, solid opening mark. 4x1 broke 40 already which will compete in Big West, probably not win though. Distances- A ton of 800 potential, but not guaranteed. 1:50.57 for Reden, and four others sub 1:54. Not much else. Jumps-Jankans is 7'3 in HJ. Legit mark early. Pole Vault has 3 guys 16'2, while not eye popping, is nice depth in Big West. Long Jump kind of the same, 3 guys over 23 feet/7.0meters. James over 50' in TJ. Throws- Some nice early marks. Wells over 60' in shot. Wharry 188' disc. Hammer is Norfles over 217', then a few others 195' and 188', so solid as well. Javelin as well with 3 guys 200',198', and 186'. Not world beaters, but solid depth. With this variety, will compete for title. Distances a bit thin, and really don't have a true stud who can win multiple events in other disciples, but a combined effort might get it done. |
