I agree he was in a unique situation. He was successful in D2 and school moved up to D1 and he maintained the success. He has a system that works and probably a hell of a coach. He has 2-3 good years at New Mexico and he’ll be coaching a p-4 school. ![]() Mid Major coaches have always been breading grounds for the big boys. Nothing there has changed. Dude had been at San Diego for over a decade and deserves a chance to move up. Great coach and I wish him the best. ![]() Low midmajors just a breading ground for talent for bigger conferences. I don't think we will ever see a coach at a school in the BigWest for a long period. 2-3 years of success and they will leave. One year of success as a player and NIL money and gone. ![]() |
