Fox Sports forced their contracted conferences (Big Ten, BigXII, ACC) to accept the bids or don't go to NIT.
With transfer window open (which makes no sense) I don't blame the schools who said no to either.
Either way, good on UCI to keep winning, just didn't have to face P4/P5 schools like in previous years.

The Crown Tourney being held this week in Vegas with 16 teams is made up of some big schools that didn't get NCAA bids. The Crown Tourney-winning school gets 300k for its NIL fund and the 2nd-place school gets 100k NIL money. Because of this tourney locking up big names the BW got 3 bids to NIT.

NIT final tickets, $1-$5. The NCAA/sponsors are probably flooding the market to get some butts in the seats to make it look more respectable. Previous Message
Indiana is a bit of a travel for the most diehard fans, and though we respect our Big West brethren, UCI isn't the greatest draw for casual fans. Much the same for Chattanooga. Previous Message

I watched the game, and it was a back and froth event. UCI was able to hold off North Texas at the end and is moving on to the NIT CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Previous Message
