Bad news my friends, the days when LB could compete and rise to being a top 25 program are gone. And, unless some wealthy alum decides to fund our regaining competitiveness, they are not returning unless the rules change again.
I read somewhere that UCSB has something like $500k in NIL money to sped annually. I also heard we are south of $50k. Given this reality, the best we can hope for is to develop a reputation of being a great development place. Come here and get playing time, and we can help you hone your skills and earn a payday later in college. Unfortunately, Acker and company didn't exactly deliver on that last year.

We don't have the NIL dollars for anyone good. Hope President Trump limits NIL dollars. He just met with Lou Sabin about NIL dollars.

I don't see anyone on here saying we don't want a D2 All-American.

Yes because god forbid what would Long Beach possibly want with a D2 All American? Our roster is full of quality players for next year. Holy S**t and people wonder why interest is sinking faster and faster every year.

Dastrup will be on a 2 yar mission. We wont see him until 2027. A D2 All-American sounds good to me.

We have Dastrup Frosh (signed) and Diaz Soph (committed) next year at the point guard position.
