Wow we looked DOA in that first set not only the normal too many service errors but all the hitting errors. They were tight.
When it turned midway through set 2 got Pepperdine on their heels and that 4th set was a doozie. A great way to get to the Natty fighting through a tough balanced Waves team.
Scary moment in the 4th when Moni dove for a ball and didn't get up right away but he looked fine. 5 aces tonight? Or 4 anyway I think he's over 100 for the season.
Gotta clean up the service errors, about half of them were just bad the other half barely missed.
UCLA and Hawaii will serve less errors than Pepperdine, although they threw some nasty heat our way sometimes.

Long Beach beats Pepperdine 3-1 to advance to the NCAA Championships Monday Night. Serving MUST IMPROVE on MOnday as it was horrible. Next up Hawaii/UCLA. Previous Message Previous Message Previous Message
