To add some background to this: Marilyn Bohl made a similar contribution to SMC in 2021. Her brother-in-law, Mike Walter was formerly the Dean of SMC’s college of business prior to becoming LBSU’s Dean. Her initial bequeath in 2021 occurred when Andy Fee was athletics director and after he’d brought Eric Valenzuela onboard from SMC’s baseball coach.

Marilyn Bohl, in St Mary's badeball jersey, has donated $1 MILLION to St. Mary's athletics, incl $250,000 to their baseball diamond effort.
