Cal loses its AD , and caves to its boosters, giving Ron Rivera control of football, and leaving the two deputy AD’s to run the rest of the department for a year. That’s right, no new leader up top. Co-AD’s who dont touch football.

Sac St gets non recommendation from Football council. Turns out the whole NCAA model is also up for review in a few days from the big council. This vote today has no formal affect, but unlikely they big council overrules it since the big5 conferences can make their own rules. They probably had Pac12 and Sun Belt support, but that doesn’t overcome the big4 .
