The first two sets, actually, the first three, were tough to watch. Lots of mistakes. But, they toughed it out to win the third set, then played much better in the last two to win the match. The last two sets looked more like the team we've seen develop over the last month, especially the blocking. They need to be up for all of the remaining matches, and definitely have an attitude of closing it out when they have the opposition on the ropes.

We beat CSU Bakersfield last night in 5 sets. Once again we lost the first 2 sets and then came back to win the last 3. Similar to our match against CSUN, but we lost the 5 set to CSUN.
After a pretty good start to the season by our ladies, they seemed to have flattened out a little bit. I hope that they can regain their earlier form as we head towards the end of the regular season and the Big West Tournament!!!
