The playing area for basketball and volleyball has to stay on campus. Students only have to walk across the parking lot to attend games and do not to that in large numbers. They would not attend at all if they had to drive to an off campus facility.

Great idea but unless we can find a big donor not sure LB St can come up with the funds.
If it is built with 2,500 seats maybe it could be made so future expansion would be possible. Previous Message

Lots of good memories of Vets Stadium both from high school and Long Beach State. Especially remember the Milk Bowl that would draw huge crowds.
Maybe the new 2,500 seat arena can be our back up should the Mid receive too much rain. Previous Message
