Of course, I understand the talent disparity. The coaching disparity.
Didn’t expect them to pull out a 10 point loss tonight. However, it’s the little things I watched during this game in terms of baseline fundamentals, they do NOTHING with any baseline competence. Realizing what a recruiting failure, this off-season was beyond what we expected.
Limations are what they are, but no way this team is anything but last place even in the BW

You do realize the Aztecs are literally in the very highest top tier of defensive teams in the nation, it was their home opener, and we have a total roster rebuild?
Wainwright would not have done well against this high level pressure, and Askew would have gotten his 20 if he was in a zone.
The way our guards played was no surprise to me, I analyzed them over the summer and it was clear they were a ragtag group that had decent 3 pt% but very little creative offense. We don't have a true pg but a lot of guys who can handle it, although it seems like Diaz is the primary ballhandler.
We got whooped and exposed by one of the best teams in the western region what did you expect? I totally expected this outcome and I'm not happy but I'm not diving off the nearest cliff either.
