SDSU plays a frenetic high energy defense so the guys will be used to that. One positive is when the Aztecs tried to full court press us rather than just play hectic man on man with lots of switching, our guards seemed to have been trained well to break that.
Agreed with everyone, the stupid high screen from a big pass back and forth is fine if mixed in with other looks, but pathetic if forced and run often.
A lot of our TOs were from rushing things I know this team wants to run and sounds like they'll get another chance since Fresno likes to play up tempo as well.

SDSU was balanced, has a roster full of 4 star guys, and returned a bunch of them, with the MW preseason MVP leading the way.
Fresno on paper we should be more competitive with, though it seems they have put the gambling group behind them. They dominated D2 Fresno Pacific. Shot well inside the paint, not so good from outside.
I want our Syracuse guy to get more looks working in the paint or free throw extended, and Washington seems to have something about him, but emphasize for him to work inside and use his length everywhere else (boards, defense).
Guards need to stay composed, a few too many drives in paint where it wasn't quite there or drove too far and then ran into trouble at the rim. None of them seemed to have that next level leap to get over the defenders.

Looks like the Clemson transfer is their go-to guy.
