Recently, in the newly formatted Calif. driver's license, the 49er image has been removed, so I don't think LB will be known as the 49ers again. Thanks Jane! I was told recently that the Shark Mascot will no longer appear at LB sporting events. Previous Message
In 5 years I expect all of the UC schools to have left the conference. We will have a new school president and I hope the schools finances will have improved.

I have been told that a discussion of branding at the admin level is finally about to happen. Previous Message
During the broadcast the announcer says no longer the 49ers but having a hard time saying "Long Beach State Beach".
Branding problem 101 continues.
