Was actually section 115 of the south end bleachers me and my longtime season ticket buddies were in. I got a call from Bobby Smitheran about a month ago explaining what they were attempting to do and he offered us seats in Section 111 we ended up taking row C so maybe the refs will still have to listen to us!

Its about $$$ plain and simple. I was fine with it, loved being down in the action and meeting recruits, players families, and returning alumni who played, but live moves on in a new direction and I'll get to watch the team from center court now. Price stayed the same, and they included sand bar access which is cool.

Bobby was pretty cool seemed to be humble about it and apologetic, understanding we'd been there for ages. I hope his Acker experiment works out that's how I'm gonna judge his early tenure as our AD.

The luxury boxes are in place to attract large donors. I am glad the bleachers are gone, as they were old and in poor shape. I heard that the fans in the old bleachers (sec 106) were offered seats in sec 112. I hope the roof gets fixed, especially with heavy rain coming this weekend.

While at the WBB game last night, I was introduced to a number of upgrades/changes to the Pyramid...
1. Bleachers at the south end are gone
2. Two new luxury boxes have been added in place of the bleachers, one on each side of Sandbar
3. New LB light graphics on the ceiling during the introduction of our players
4. New NCAA and League Champion ship banners
5. New retired jersey banners
6. And I think new speakers

Take a look the next time that you are at the Pyramid. I think that it shows that the administration is working to keep the mid up to date. Just my thoughts!
