"USC might not have it as easy today after controlling
their matchups with Manhattan and Cal Poly.
“We believe this will be a team that can win their
conference and be in the NCAA Tournament.” Mussel-
man said of the Redbirds (1-1). The Trojans can continue
to roll if they contain Illinois State’s perimeter shooters
and equally distribute the scoring responsibilities."

Illinois State is 1-3 before coming to California to play USC, then LB on Sunday. Their 3 losses were to Illinois 92-65, Northwestern 100-65, and to Ohio University 72-68. Their victory came over Cornell 76-65. We have a chance to win this game if we can play smart basketball for 40 minutes and end the 18-game losing streak.
