
On offense, we only had 6 team assists, with Diaz having 4 of them. I like Diaz, but think he needs to focus more on distributing the ball and getting assists rather than scoring points. Our current PGs dribble way too much and waste shot clock time. Pass the ball and get more assists. For the next game,
I would start Bender 6'2" at the point with Farrell and Sykes at the wings with Petar, if his ankle is O.K., at the small forward, and whoever works hard, and wants to play D and rebound at the next practices and earns the 5 spot. In my opinion, I don't see a low post that has stood out in the recent games.
Montana moved the ball around better than we did and had 13 assists. However, as I mentioned earlier, 72 points should be enough to win a college game if we avoid defensive lapses.
