Unfortunately, anyone other than candidates from SDSU were even considered.
I’ll bet if it was a choice between Cal Poly or us, we would have won out.
I posted in another thread that experience wins out over recruiters

At Utah 92-85. Utah was 5-0. Cal Poly sure hired the right coach.
