How about an AD news conference or chat with the press and supporters being able to ask questions.

Bill, you are correct when you say, "win, and they will come." The Myd was 75% full during Mosons' 3 or 4 good years. Changing the mascot, the fight song, and Pistol Pete angered a lot of donors and season ticket holders. Also, having to move games to the Gold Mine doesn't attract new season ticket holders. The Myd has been leaking for several years, and I haven't yet heard of a plan to repair it or build a new 4 K seat arena. There has been enough time to produce a few plan options. I hope the plan isn't to pray for no rain on game days. To the LB admins, what's the plan for the Myd?

Win and they will come. We did draw fans a few years ago under Monson. Then we started to lose and the Administration started to really piss off our long time fans. If the Administration doesn’t care about the team or winning the fans won’t either.
I have been a fan since the 70’s, still buying Season tickets, trying to stay positive. But it’s getting really difficult.

Ben you must have forgotten the Fab 4 in 2012. They had many games over 4,000 fans and they won like 35 in a row at home.

So far, I am not a fan of Acker, but am willing to see how we do in League. CSUN and other schools have brought in Division 2 coaches with winning records and improved their programs. Bringing in a recruiter without X & O experience is a mistake
Remember Wayne Morgan?
We have not packed the Pyramid since Seth and if we could get to 2000 fans per game, I believe it would make huge difference in recruiting and results. Consistent scheduling times would also make a difference so fans could have rhythm to there lives.

Ben you realize the ticket cost $$$$$ and NO ONE is going to keep pissing their money away on a bad product. If they start turning things around then the fans will start to come back. This is totally on Acker and the players to get this thing turned around and not on the fans.

I understand your feelings about the team.
However, I am realistic in terms of expectations and am willing to give this a chance to improve with experience
I believe 1000 more fans at each game will make a difference.
Current crowd size is unacceptable.
True fans support the program, win or lose.
My opinion could change if at the end of the year we are at the bottom of the league.
Improvement is critical and I expect to hold the coach (and administration) accountable for growth in the program.
Time will tell.
Without Football, basketball needed to be the revenue generator and it has not up to now.
If you were a recruit, you would read the boards, and make decisions based on fan support.
I am disappointed in the decline in season ticket holders and supporters. It is not for us to blame the players at this time. Right now being competitive is important because it leads to wins with more experience.
I will continue to support all of our programs.

Why? So you are saying that fans of the MBB that are frustrated can't vent their feelings on here?
Why should any fan of both our basketball teams be putting up with a combined 1-9 start. That is embarrassing when we have a great campus, a good arena(when its not raining), great weather, ect and we can't get any better players for either team. We as long time fans deserve better than this garbage we are having to sit through. Sorry Ben but the players aren't getting Lemonade and cookies after the games. I know you are part of todays generation that gets their feelings hurt when people have negative opinions on certain things but the reality is both our Basketball teams STINK!!!!!

Rebuilding a team from scratch without NIL money takes time.
We have now played games that are competitive and winnable.
I don’t count Noble
We have 4 Really good guards, that are young
Big men have potential, they just need to learn to play together
If you want players to respond, support them and their coaches
This includes posts to this board.
Fans and supporters can make a difference when the players know they have support.
Every team we have been losing to, have team continuity
Each year they lose about 4 players and add about 4 players
The remaining players, mentor the new guys and are leaders on the court and in the locker room, which is very important to incoming players.
We will improve, we are improving, and we will be competitive
I believe the last 3 losses we were competitive and the games were very enjoyable games to watch
Even the disappointing crowds were rooting for the team and, I have to tell you, I enjoyed every minute of those opportunities to win. The glass is half full and your support will add to the glass, drip by drip
