Agree. Going forward, It will be interesting to see if a big differentiator within the Big West becomes how long can schools hold onto their better players. Anyone’s going to leave for a Blue Blood, but something tells me the better UC’s can hold off the next level of teams for a year or two, while we might end up as a stepping stone for the Fresno State’s of the world. Speaking of Big West UC’s, Santa Barbara’s getting a big profile bump from what Ajay Mitchell’s doing in OKC. That kids going to make a lot of money and have a very solid NBA career……maybe even beyond solid if he extends his shooting range.
