More importantly, what about DMX. I trust we'll never hear. That's what sports reporters are for, to ask those questions. Where are they?

I watched a practice today and was impressed with Coach Ackers' practice organization, his teaching of what he expects, and his intensity. The team worked on the game plan for UCSB, and I hope the players can implement the game plan. Anyone who says he cannot coach hasn't been to a practice and seen him in action. Of course, the ultimate success of a staff and its players is in the W-L records. I think if Coach Acker gets (recruits) the right players with strong talent, he could start to win many more games and build a program at LB. Time will tell! I am not ready, as yet, to give up on Acker.
Washington is still on crutches and is unlikely to be back for a week or two, but at least he wasn't wearing the boot.
