Long Beach State Sports : #4 Iowa State

I'd prefer us getting walloped by #4 Iowa State rather than #12 Iowa State. Hope we approach it with an attitude of the experience, play loose and go for it since no one expects they will even compete (including me) and that's no knock on the team its reality.

A 50 pt loss would sting but not be unheard of.

Keep it under 30 and that shows something, but not much.

Get it under 20 that is a moral victory I can live with but this only happens 1 out of 100 times so can't get our hopes up.

Team needs to focus on Thursday's home game with Pepperdine, a winnable game but they have to play lights out on both ends and not vaporize under pressure.

Man this is going to be a tough weekend for MBB/WBB. The women will play #4 UCLA on Sat at Pauley and MBB will play at #4 Iowa State on Sun. These will be 30 to 40 point beatdowns and will do nothing to help either team. I hope we are going to get some $ for both games but other than that I can't see why either team is playing these games.
