It happens in high school, too, as you have private schools and a few select public schools loading their rosters with high-quality players and pounding and embarrassing their opponents. I see no honor in this current setup.

I don't know why, but you see this more in the women's game still.
The talent and size disparity is much greater, and you see some absurd scores, and the openly rubbing it in the opponents face with starters playing well into a 30-40pt lead. They were a 64.5pt favorite against Poly.

It looks like we are in a whole new world where sportsmanship is not valued, and money is the top value. The NCAA fell apart with NIL and currently has no control. College sports need a huge overhaul that separates the haves from the have-nots. The Mid-Majors should form a new division of the non-P-4 schools and tell the SEC, Big10, Big12 and the ACC to go to hell. The Mid-Majors should stop playing the P-4 schools, but they dangle money before them to play at their arenas and get totally embarrassed. Previous Message

I was embarrassed that the Bruins coach chose to pile it on instead of playing subs the last 3 quarters. It made me sick to watch UCLA starters whooping it up over girls from a much smaller school trying so hard but blessed with with inferior skills and statures. When adults don't teach humility and sportsmanship to our young people, our society suffers. And if that's too PC for anyone, so be it. Previous Message
