Nice win! Vegas as usual set the line spot on. 15-19 FTs and 6-10 from 3 won the game. Waves had a bunch of big but slow guys from overseas and outrebounded us. DMX not in the Myd, apparently over in Indonesia taking care of some business. The defense still a bit suspect but getting a hair better. The offense was clunky for a while then they heated up. Sykes is so legit, scored an efficient 23 with 3 boards 3 assists, team 14 assists to 9 TOs is good enough. Diaz/Lewis make a decent pg tandem both are getting better. Petar missed a ton of tricky layups but on a fast break Lewis dimed him behind the back and Petar has such good touch just feathered the ball in from 4 feet. Bender, Farrell and Levillian were productive. And they closed out a tight game! Satisfying win, crowd was small but got loud at the right times.

Great they get a nice home win before being lead to the slaughter on Saturday. Hope they play loose have fun and maybe do a little damage but I think Iowa St will score 120 against our less than stellar defense. Maybe we can score 80+ and have some fun.

Waves felt like a lower mid tier BW team. Its encouraging, maybe we can pickup 6-8 wins in conference. DMX would have helped tonight with rebounding. I think this team can level up one more time this season and be halfway decent. My thought tonight was that for a bottom dweller we ain't half bad sometimes. What an endorsement!

Acker was loud and kind of funny when we went brain dead here and there. He was yelling at guys to move on offense instead of stagnating in a corner. The refs were good for a while swallowing the whistle then they went brain dead made a few bonehead calls but did reverse a call after reviewing on the video.

I think it was Farrell who had a nice steal and power dunk over one of the Waves lumbering bigs.
