I'm intrigued by Levillian, and wondering if he's showing a lot in practice then retreating too much in games, his strong dribble drives with his left handed dribble might give teams fits. He's got odd mechanics but it looks like they might work. He's very strong.
I liked how the team came out in the 2nd half full of energy and set the tempo, outscored ISU 40 to 34. If they hadn't energized, ISU scores 100+ easy. Once this team figures out how to come out the gate with that energy and sustain it, if they ever do figure it out, they will compete in the BWC.

We have lost many of these paydate games like today's game in the past. We got stomped, gathered our check, and headed home. It would be a shame to lose Sykes for any significant time in a game like this.
On to hosting Lincoln, CA, which plays as an independent and hopes in the future to be Div 2 but is not currently recognized by the NCAA as a Div 2 or 3 program.

Nailed the differential below
ISU 113 LBSU 82
Actual Score ISU 91 LBSU 60
The total points I was way off. ISU lost their edge the entire second half but played a lot of their rotation. Beach did some work had better energy and execution at times. Diaz played great. Chaikovsky did some nice work on defense. DMX had travel issues he didn't miss much and might have helped a tad.
That big Euro ISU has is a freak shooter takes NBA range 3's without a problem and I think he's 6-11.
It will not get any tougher than this by a massive margin, unless of course Sykes misses time. He has time to heal though, 12 days till we open v SLO. God I hope its a very minor injury.
