Correct, they are a counter because they are an accredited university, and that is what the NCAA requires for them to count towards wins and loses.

They are an independent, and the CA Lincoln campus is not an NCAA program. "On to hosting Lincoln, CA, which plays as an independent and hopes in the future to be Div 2 but is not currently recognized by the NCAA as a Div 2 or 3 program." Previous Message
We play them next Tuesday. Only thing I know about them is that they do have a D1 football program.
