Based upon our performance last night, tonight just might be a struggle!!! Overall, I like what I see from this years team so far!!!

Lindenwood is no pushover, they had some set leads and put down some good kills. Beach block might be top notch this year. Jackson Cryst is looking like a potential NCAA FOY level middle blocker. Starting setter will continue to be Jake Pazanti he is very good, pairs nicely with Cyrst and Braun putting up a wall, roof, whatever!
Gajek started over Daniil I think that is the right move, Gajek is dynamic. Daniil only got some time as a serving sub once, but got a nice ace. I'm sure if Gajek struggles or any of the OH's (Varga, Kandev) need a sub, he's right there. Bloom played sets 2 and 3 for the last 5 points or so, subbed in for Kandev. Had a great serving run in set 3.
Kandev was targeted all match with serves, passed a lot of dimes, many solid passes, and only one I saw that wasn't that good. Other options are Larson and Varga, good luck to opponents trying to find someone to serve to. I hope they all target Kandev all it does is give him tons of in game practice.
Pruitt out of the boot and walking nicely, should see him at some point in the middle. Pazanti and Cryst serve at a high level but both can get better, Cryst offspeed not that good yet, Pazanti offspeed is very good didn't see much power from him tonight.
McRae called some good challenges and timeouts. Varga does what he does, makes a few mistakes but almost always makes huge plays when needed.
I see no reason this team can't challenge for a repeat, it won't be easy or anything but they look very good, and deep.
Tomorrow v #15 McKendree will be interesting.
