Beach MVB team was kind of flat last night. One of those matches where a bunch of things were going wrong at once. Kandev pass/receive went south. Cryst couldn't get serves in. Daniil struggled for a while. Our team block was great but McKendree did an amazing job getting kills off the block.

That second set was epic. Both teams did everything they could to win that set. It definitely deflated #15 McKendree, who deserve that ranking they have a very good team.

Varga was a beast, player of the game without question. 7 aces and his last one blasted 74 mph reminding a few of the gems Moni delivered.

Macrae is so calm I think it influences the team, they never panicked in set 2, but neither did the Bearcats. I can't remember the last time at the Pyramid a set went so long.
