This is the Diaz that we should expect from now on. He's totally engaged in the game and the only issues he's having are adjusting to how everyone in DI is a few inches taller and more athletic than DII. He tends to lob passes lower than he needs to over the heads of defenders, a few times a game.
Petar sometimes holds a master class in back to the basket, interior offensive footwork. He kind of did it all last night and is definitely our emotional leader.
Sykes is a silent killer often, you know he's scoring but I always think he's got about half what he actually has. Teams cannot sag off him so he opens it up for everyone else.
Devillian was playing his normal 'hey I'm learning the nuances of this game on the fly' self but was collecting a ton of rebounds, but those last five minutes were golden for him and he was letting out a lot of built up frustration when he made those big plays. Big upside with Leo, got that rugby physicality at 6-9 with very long arms that once he learns defense and timing he could be shot blocker. His offensive skills are where he can really improve I see good potential there.
Said a few words to Farrell after the game nice young man and full of positive energy. He's so tough on the floor.
DMX not dressed. The more I thought about it, the way he crumpled at UCI after snagging rebound and positioning himself to go up, then wilted, and there was no apparent contact beyond being brushed against by the defender, then holding his ear in great pain for a while, maybe he has something like vertigo? Not sure why it would be so painful but maybe for some it is. Hope he will be ok.
Washington looked decent in his few minutes back. Fairly active and engaged. We need that depth with DMX shaky.
Jaden Alexander for Bake is a very hard guy to deal with, super physical with excellent ability to penetrate the d and get interior buckets. Has a weird flatline FT though.
This was a complete team win on offense and in the set defense, the only issue was dealing with defensive pressure. If we had that figured out last night, it may have been a 15 point win.

Hard to pick an MVP for this game.
Diaz 20 points, 9 assists. 6 Rebs, 3 steals, 2 blocks
Petar 23 points, 9 for 12 shooting, 3 steals
Sykes 22 points, 4 rebs, and played 39 min,
Leo 14 Rebs, 10 points
I say the game ball goes to Diaz as he had his best game since coming to LB.
