UCSD as a new member that wonder if they can share in any media deals that I am sure will expire soon.
WCC games on ESPN+ so with a few games on CBS and ESPN with Gonzaga that with them leaving that unsure if any other schools will get the national coverage outside of what BW gets with ESPN+.

Long term sure. But SM is still there as of now. And they don't get to take those tourney credits with them, the conference keeps them to share, and any existing media deal, for the next few years at least. It's something.

Working on the move out of the BW into the WCC. Makes little sense as with Gonzaga leaving and possibly St. Mary's that the WCC is not any better than the BW.

Sounds like failing up, to me. See Kamala Harris, Robert Garcia, and Gray Davis for other examples.

UC San Diego agreed to terms with new AD Andy Fee on a contract running through June 30, 2030, with a first-year base salary of $340K, according to CollegeAD. The deal includes a $100K signing bonus and 4% annual salary increases. Fee would owe a buyout of one year's salary plus $200K if he leaves before June 30, 2027, with the figure dropping in subsequent years. Termination without cause would trigger a payout of 50% of his remaining base salary.
