I you were not there, you missed an exciting match. I always hate to go to Pepperdine, because of the slow drive down 1. With the aftermat of the big fire last year, this drive was even worse, but the excitement of the match made up for the drive (104 miles to get back to Canyon Lake last night).

In my opinion, it was not our best effort, but there is no doubt that Pepperdine had something to do with that. They are big, and they are good. I also hate playing in the Firestone Fieldhouse as the ceiling there always comes into play and last night was no exception. The match was also slow in that there were a number of challenges which seemed to take a long time to get a rulling on.

All in all, a fun night which let us drive away with a nice win. I had a short talk with Nick before the start of the match, and he said that he felt that this match would be of the calabir of a Final 4 match, and it sure was exciting!!! By the way, Pepperdine has to be one of the most beautiful setting for any college campus in the country!!!
