We just do not and will not any time soon have the very large donors so we have enough money to compete against generously funded schools. Being in the Big West Conference does not help.
In addition the Big West is losing Hawaii and they are a critical competitor for mens volleyball. We are also losing UC Davis and I believe we are losing UCSD. We are gaining Utah Valley.
Let's face it the conference we are in is a total drag on us moving forward.
