We seemed to fade after the 2nd set, UCLA's tall line bothered us at the net, and we had too many bad serves. It's tough to miss a chance to beat the Bruins and earn the number 1 rating. Let's hope we can go up to Westwood and return the favor.

Set 1, Beach clocked the Bruins. Crowd was electric.
Set 2, UCLA played a little better, Beach a little less explosive, but handily won the set.
Set 3, Beach on the verge of sweeping, misses 2 or 3 swings late by Varga and Kandev and can't close it out
Set 4, UCLA dominates and momentum fully shifts
Set 5, UCLA starts hot, Varga ties it up with 2 beautiful aces, then Beach falls flat.
Tough loss to swallow, got to play at UCLA in 2 weeks how the team responds there might be our ceiling.
