DMX played last night.

To their credit, Fullerton made defensive changes at halftime, and that had a big impact. Also, they played 11 players, and we played 8, which leads to player fatigue. There was not a big dropoff when their second team came on the court. What happened to DMX? He is the only player back from last year. Why keep him if he isn't going to play? I know he hurt his ankle in early November. I don't think it is a problem today. Previous Message
Very similar feel to the Monson year end of game. Too much looking at Sykes to do everything down the stretch. The team had the ball humming for a bit in the first, working through Mr Syracuse in the high and low post, and that simply was not the way the second half went.

For years, our teams haven't been able to close games; that is what I always say. We can't seem to have a team with the killer extinct. Then, when you mix that aspect with a team that is always playing inconsistently, you get a mix where no outcome is guaranteed, no matter how you play. That is our team, CSULB, Beach, 49er's. This team just can't close games out for some reason. Yet another game we should have won yet they crap themselves over and over. Oh well thank goodness Baseball/Softball and MVB will be going on as MBB season is over.
