Ho hum sweep. Vanguard a decent team with very good size, but not that overall skilled or anything. We had some great service runs and blocking and that was about the difference. The setting was subpar from Pazanti, he's struggled some since the 4th set v UCLA. The passing was pretty good and they targeted Kandev a lot until we started protecting him a bit more.

Gajek started and played the entire match, looked good he missed a few kills but was in on the block and served pretty well.

This team so far just isn't consistently at a high gear, they kind of trail out too much. I doubt we keep the #2 ranking all season, I sense some losses in the BW conference incoming. @ UCLA I don't see a win next Friday probably take a set that's it. I think Varga is the key right now, he needs to be at his best for the team to follow his lead, same goes with Kandev. Pazanti, I hope its just a few matches blip of a problem because prior to UCLA, his setting was very solid.
