Yes our bullpen couldn't hold 1 run leads late in the game but in the last 3 games (2 were losses) our pitching only gave up 3 earned runs. (the 3 extra inn runs allowed yesterday were unearned).
One of the problems has been that our offense has been shut out in the late innings by our opponents' bullpens.

TJ had better figure out the relief pitching or it will be another very long year in Dirtbag land. Two straight gag jobs in late inning games and now the team is 1-3 instead of 3-1. Bad pitching all day/night in that there were many walks 4 or 5 hit batters and as usual very little offense. Previous Message Previous Message Previous Message
Dirtbags were leading San Diego 2-1 in the top of the 8th when they brought in a Freshman to pitch and San Diego scored 2 runs to take a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the 8th. TJ needs to get his head on straight and figure out the late inning bullpen as this will be two straight blown leads late if they can't come back.
