With all due respect to what has been said about our Men's Basketball team and coach, I somehow feel that we have shown improvement this season. We have had a lot close game losses. 10 of our losses have been by 6 points or less or have gone into OT (and lost). I know that losing is bad, but we seem to be getting better as we go through this losint season as compared to last season. It is true that Coach Acker is a first time head coach and is probably learning on the job. It is also true that losing all of the players from last years team, but one, did not do us any favors. All I can say is that I hope that our coaching staff is learning lots of things over the last two seasons, and can convert that learning into better player retention, more wins in the next season, and an improved coaching strategy for the next year!

Let's face it, we do not have the money to change coaches and coaching staffs at this junction. We have got to hope that we can GROW the coaching staff and players as wew move forward.
